“the discontinuous distribution of the nut-cracking behavior”

Research on chimpanzee use of stone hammers to crack open nuts to access the nutrient-rich seeds and transmission of that behavior. Nobody asks about chimpanzee use of stone hammers to crack open human skulls to access the nutrient-rich sweet, sweet goo inside which'd be the first behavior I'd worry about chimpanzees transmitting.
